Spotlight Theatre Festival
This summer’s Spotlight Theatre classes will feature a mini theatre festival! Student performers will work on their acting skills while putting together a fully staged musical all in one week. Actors will perform with live music and costumes on The Barn Theatre stage on Friday, July 16, at 6 PM and on Saturday, July 17, at 10 AM. Tickets for performances will be open to the community.Participants will have the opportunity to perform outside for the community the following week. More details to follow in class. The Little Mermaid: A New Musical, Grades 1-9 This summer’s theatre intensive involves mermaids, pirates, princes, sea creatures, and more! If you love to sing, move, and act then this is your chance to be onstage at The Barn Theatre in Willmar. This will be the world premiere of our community’s adaptation of the classic tale by Hans Christian Anderson!*Cost is kept lower thanks to generous funds from United Way of West Central Minnesota, Southwest initiative Foundation, Kandi COOP Vision 2040, and Willmar Area Arts Council. Cardinal Kids Preschool is an exciting program for children who are 4 years old by September 1st of the school year for which they are registering. The preschool program follows the regular school calendar.
Cardinal Place is the before/after school program located within the Willmar Public Schools. We currently have three sites – at Kennedy Elementary School, Roosevelt Elementary School, and Lakeland Elementary School.

School Readiness preschool is a program for families with children 3 to 5 years old. Parents do not attend class with their child. However, they are required to be involved with the program. Many opportunities are available for families.

Mid-MN Total Defense is a family-oriented dojo with a well-rounded approach to self defense, drawing from a variety of martial arts in a fun and uplifting environment.
These classes are for families with children from birth to pre-kindergarten.
