Travel up and down the beanstalk as Jack tries to save his village, meeting many characters along the way! Come and be a part of this original musical production of this classic tale. Up to 70 youth are needed to play the roles of Jack, his Friend Jessie, the Villagers, the Birds, the Orchestranians, the Trolls, the Goose, the Harp and the Cow, and the Carnies. Sign up right away! Registrations will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Everyone who signs up will get a part, some parts are bigger than others.Auditions for Prairie Fire Theatre’s original production of “JACK AND THE BEANSTALK” will be held on Monday, April 22 starting promptly at 3:45pm on the WEAC Stage. The audition will last approximately 2 hours and auditioners are required to be in attendance the complete time. A portion of the cast will be required to stay for a short rehearsal following auditions.Rehearsals will be from 3:45-8pm on Tuesday, April 23 thru Friday, April 26 at WEAC. Bring a brown bag snack for the scheduled break during each rehearsal. Live performances will be held on Friday, April 26 at 7pm and Saturday, April 27 at 1pm. Tickets will be on sale at the Community Education office during the week of the show and at the WEAC ticket booth 30 minutes before the start of each show. Kindergarten and under are free, Students $3, and Adult $4.The staff comes complete with everything to do the show: props, costumes, make-up... everything but the actors! Participants must commit to attending every rehearsal and both performances.
