Cardinal Kids Preschool is an exciting program for children who are 4 years old by September 1st of the school year for which they are registering. The preschool program follows the regular school calendar.
Cardinal Place is the before/after school program located within the Willmar Public Schools. We currently have three sites – at Kennedy Elementary School, Roosevelt Elementary School, and Lakeland Elementary School.

School Readiness preschool is a program for families with children 3 to 5 years old. Parents do not attend class with their child. However, they are required to be involved with the program. Many opportunities are available for families.

Willmar Community Education offers private or semi-private swimming instruction for all ages and ability levels. These lessons are 25 minutes in length and geared toward specific goals of each student.

Laura is a Minnesota Master Naturalist and a Minnesota Master Gardener, and has worked with Monarch Joint Venture – formerly the University of MN Monarch Lab – for many years providing professional development to educators. She has been recognized by educational and environmental groups for her approach to engaging students in authentic science and is a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching. You will find Laura volunteering at NLS and with many other organizations in our community!
