Cardinal Place is the before/after school program located within the Willmar Public Schools. We currently have three sites – at Kennedy Elementary School, Roosevelt Elementary School, and Lakeland Elementary School.

School Readiness preschool is a program for families with children 3 to 5 years old. Parents do not attend class with their child. However, they are required to be involved with the program. Many opportunities are available for families.

Willmar Community Education offers private or semi-private swimming instruction for all ages and ability levels. These lessons are 30 minutes in length and geared toward specific goals of each student.

EGG is a program that helps kids get better at thinking ahead, sticking with tasks, and solving problems. A good relationship between parents and kids is important for learning these skills. Join Rachel and Kari to learn how to build these skills and make family bonds stronger. This class is intended for children ages 3 to 5, but younger siblings are welcome to join us.
Kari is the Willmar ECFE teacher. Her favorite part of her job is watching, supporting, and encouraging children as they learn through play. 'Play' is a child's work and we as adults need to encourage that the best we can!
Hello! My name is Abby Zylstra and have been in the early childhood field for 7 years. I love working with young children and their families to help them learn together and grow strong bonds. I enjoy being outdoors, playing with my three young children, and baking.
